Karen Glover
Karen Glover is a Mein:tnk and Wotjobaluk woman from south eastern South Australia and north western Victoria. She has worked in federal and state government in policy and service development and has also worked in the Aboriginal community controlled sector.
Karen holds a joint appointment as Senior Research Fellow at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI), where she is Co-leader of Aboriginal health within the Healthy Mothers Healthy Families Group.
Karen’s major research focus is to ensure that research is carried out respectfully and for the benefit of Aboriginal communities. Her research interests include: social determinants of health and wellbeing in Aboriginal families, and what enables mothers, children and families to stay strong and resilient.
