Kelly FitzPatrick
BSci.(Hons), PhD Kelly is a research analyst with the Intergenerational Health Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. The focus of her research is women's experiences of family violence. Kelly recently completed her PhD entitled Types and patterns of intimate partner violence and health outcomes for women with the Safer Families CRE, using longitudinal cohort data from the Mother’s and Young People’s Study.
Kelly is continuing her work with Safer Families through the Uncover project, investigating women’s experiences of physical and psychological intimate partner violence during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kelly is also a named scholar with the Stronger Futures CRE, and a co-lead of priority area 1 - impact of intergenerational trauma.
