Module: Recognising and responding to LGBTQA+ people impacted by DFV

Learn practical ways to strengthen your skills in identifying & responding to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning, asexual/aromantic and other people of diverse genders & sexualities (LGBTQA+) who are impacted by domestic & family violence (DFV). We outline how to provide safe, empathic, & effective care for people in the LGBTQA+ community affected by DFV, including how to conduct a risk assessment for patients who disclose DFV, and safe and appropriate first-line response pathways.
