Dr Elizabeth (Libby) Hindmarsh
Dr Elizabeth (Libby) Hindmarsh has been working in general practice for over 30 years. In the last 10 years she has been working in Aboriginal health on Elcho Island in the Northern Territory and in an Aboriginal general practice on the outskirts of Sydney.
Libby has been a GP supervisor and involved in many aspects of GP education. Since 1992 she has worked on projects with RACGP in the area of family abuse and violence. She is co-editor with Prof Kelsey Hegarty of the RACGP 4th edition ‘Abuse and violence: working with our patients in general practice’. She is the chairperson for the RACGP Faculty of Specific Interest - Abuse and Violence in families Network. She is committed to keeping children safe.
